Plaque Mounting

The most well-known and widely used form of frameless mounting.

Artwork is mounted to ⅜” MDF board and heat-sealed with a clear, matte laminate. The edges of the plaque are then beveled and finished with your choice of edge colour.

This is a popular contemporary style with a lightweight finished product that creates depth in any space. This product is highly recommended for oversized artwork (larger than 24 x 36 inches) where weight may be a factor.

Artwork is mounted to a ⅛” MDF board and heat sealed with a clear, matte laminate. A 3/4″ box frame is then adhered to the back, flush to the image edge. The edges are then beveled and finished with your choice of colour, creating a finished plaque with a depth of ⅞”.

Ideal for recessed walls, niches or to create visual appeal. This profile is often recommended for oversized artwork (larger than 24 x 36 inches) where weight may be a factor.

The artwork is mounted onto a ¼” MDF and heat sealed with a clear, matte laminate. A box frame with ¾“ depth is then inset from the outer edge and adhered to the back. This gives the illusion that the image is floating off of the wall. The edges are then beveled and finished with your choice of colour.
